What: American and California historians Clarice Stasz, Sonoma State University, Daniel Markwyn, Sonoma State University, Marty Bennett, SRJC, and Andre LaRue, SRJC will examine the main themes in Steinbeck’s novel, the historical context, and its enduring significance. Co-sponsored by SRJC’s Department of Social Science, and the California Studies Association.

Comments: All of SRJCs Arts & Lectures are free and open to the public. Parking permits ($2/per day) are required for the Santa Rosa and Petaluma campuses and are available for sale at permit machines located on campus parking lots. The machines take $1 bills or quarters.
